Standing Committee on Government Agencies might meet on Thursdays from 9 a.m. Durham residents have witnessed and congratulated our authorities for insurance policies and plans which can be already being carried out. Why is this government actively stopping nurses and different health care staff from being pretty compensated in our system? My question to the minister, to the Premier: With Ontario nurses here within the House, why do you proceed to deny the reality of the crisis in our health care system? That is why the conservatives are so determined to assault us, with their slander, and their restrictive laws. The next step on this assault was the creation Enforcement Of Women's Property Rights Act the Registered Organisation Commission in 2017, an investigative physique that has been embroiled in scandal for its politicised policing of unions. Every major change working individuals have received through their unions has been condemned by our opponents. This summer time, now we have seen unprecedented levels of pressure placed on our hospitals like nothing I’ve seen in my career. Under Citizens United, supposedly "independent" teams like tremendous PACs that don't make such contributions cannot be subject to any limits, on the speculation that donations to them should not especially worthwhile to candidates, and so unlikely to be traded for authorities favors.

Indeed, our many religion communities throughout Durham are important to the spiritual and practical properly-being of our citizens. We know that investing within the well being and the nicely-being of Ontarians is nice for the financial system. I know various you in the caucus-these of you who're new, I’m going to get a chance to fulfill you. I’m a rule individual and i like my construction and that i like my rules, and that i come to this House by way of the classroom, and that i additionally like colour-coordinated, alphabetized-that’s how I roll, Speaker. We're saying sure to getting it finished in Durham in each possible approach. We stated yes to enhancing our public health care system and we'll proceed to say sure to hiring extra nurses, more PSWs and more doctors. This is a much-wanted growth as our community grows and the need for high quality public health care increases. Our Junior C Clarington Eagles, owned and operated by Kirk Kemp, impressed and introduced our group together with their stellar record and play by winning the 2022 Orr Division and jap convention championship for the provincial Junior C hockey league.

They went on to the finals and have been finalists in the provincial championship series. It is a job bearing great responsibility to oversee the work of all the members of this historic chamber. We glance forward to a different nice season in 2022-23, and, boys, you made us proud. And, as inflation is now on the rise, they are very assured that our authorities understands and is delicate to the need to be vigilant to maintain costs down. But allow us to do not forget that while combating the great struggle for our respective causes, and being passionate and devoted as we have to be, we must additionally remember to be sensible, to hear to each other in our different factors of view and, in doing so, we are able to set the higher example aspired to by Lincoln Alexander. During the marketing campaign this year, individuals and families warmly welcomed us to their doorways and greeted us in parks and on principal streets, overjoyed with the truth of Ontario being open again, whereas congratulating Premier Ford and our authorities for successfully main us through the many challenges of the pandemic. So as we go forward together as equals on this House, let us listen respectfully to one another as democratically elected representatives of almost 15 million Ontarians, being ever mindful of the fragile and precious present of parliamentary democracy that we now have all been so fortunate to inherit.

To qualify for funding, such initiatives must prioritize faculties with the highest number of students from vulnerable or low-income backgrounds. Irrespective of the party, every member brings totally different skills, experiences, backgrounds and beliefs to bear. They have-and proceed to today-supported great humanitarian and charitable organizations like the Muslim Welfare Centre in Whitby, the riding of my colleague the honourable member for Whitby. This investment in the growth of public transit inside Durham is just one example in my riding of a province-extensive growth and funding in public transit. With that in thoughts, let us acknowledge that every certainly one of us involves this place with the frequent perception in the nobility of public service and public workplace. As a proud Canadian standing on this Legislature, I would like to acknowledge and honour Trooper Donald White, certainly one of Oshawa’s most distinguished World War II veterans. When Ontario succeeds, all of Canada can succeed for, as former Premier William Davis once remarked, "I am a Canadian first," although in that context he acknowledged that he was representing Ontario on the national stage. Trooper White joined the Royal Canadian Dragoons and landed in Italy in 1944 earlier than shifting with his regiment to liberate Belgium and the Netherlands.
